Do you like apples? Looking for a new fall skincare product? Maybe something moisturizing as we head into colder weather? Well if you are looking for just that, BioExperience Iced Apple Elixir Body Butter is the product you'll want to have around this fall!

As a body butter, this product is ultra-moisturizing! It provides long lasting hydration with the whipped/creamy Capaucu butter. I thought it absorbed quite well for a body butter, and my skin felt thoroughly moisturized and protected. The light fragrance of apple is great for this time of year when it's all about apple picking, pumpkins, cinnamon, etc. The apple fragrance also adds a refreshing quality to the body butter. The apple cider vinegar in the body butter (in addition to having many other benefits) promotes collagen for firmer skin, always a plus in a body butter :)

Now why should you choose a body butter over a body lotion? Mostly it depends on your skin type, and the conditions in which your skin go through. Harsh weather, taking hot showers, drying beauty products (such as soap), and taking too many showers, can all cause your skin to loose some of it's much needed moisture. If you have very dry skin that needs some intense moisture or healing, a body butter should do the trick. Body butters also create a protective layer to keep your skin moisturized longer. If you are not in such need of intense healing, a lotion, which is combined water and oil (body butters usually consist of butters, such as Shea butter, and oils) will absorb much quicker and tend to be less greasy. Lotions are great to maintain smooth, moisturized skin, but if your skin needs an extra boost, you'll want to keep a body butter around, especially during the cooler months!

Stay Classy,

Linnea
