VineVera Resveratrol Eye Collection 7.22.13 Certified FabulousDon’t you just love it when people say “wow, you look really tired,” after you had a full nights sleep and feel fine?? I've mentioned in the past my terribly dark-under eye circles (thanks for the crappy genes mom). I am always willing to try any product which is indicated for dark circles or under eye puffiness, and this month I was able to test a true winner. One of the nicest under eye creams I have ever experienced, Vine Vera’s Resveratrol Eye Collection Dark Circle Eye Cream is so luxe, I can hardly stand it.

What makes this under eye cream so amazing is that it is formulated with Resveratrol (Pitchia/Resveratrol Ferment Extract). Pichia/ResveratrolResveratrolResveratrol, found in the skins of grapes, is a phytoalexin, a defense mechanism produced by several other plants (peanut skins) to fend off attacking bacteria. It has been reported in numerous studies to be one of the most potent natural chemopreventive agents inhibiting the cellular processes associated with tumor development, including initiation, promotion, and progression. It also has significant anti-inflammatory, cancer-fighting and anti-aging properties. In cosmetics and personal care it is used as an antioxidant agent, an anti-inflammatory, skin lightening & brightening agent, and sun damage repair agent.

Ferment Extract promotes the synthesis of Type IV Collagen, and improves overall appearance of the skin. What an amazing ingredient! This amazing product is also full of Caffeine and Vitamins A (Retinyl Palmitate) and E (Tocopheryl Acetate) to reduce the immediate look of tired eyes, while hydrating the delicate eye area.

The first thing I must describe is the beautiful packaging.  This cream comes wrapped up like a beautiful gift. The heavy walled jar is a beautiful copper/burgundy color and it comes encapsulated in a beautiful heavy box like a fine gift. The cream is extremely thick, so be mindful to use sparingly. The directions suggest to gently apply cream to area under eyes and along orbital bone using the ring finger. I noticed  a decrease in under eye puffiness immediately, it was amazing. After using for 3 days, I noticed a decrease in the darkness of my under-eye circles as well.  Truly an amazing, luxurious eye cream that I would recommend to anyone!!

"It is better to trust the eyes rather than the ears."

"The eye is the mirror of the soul."

"What the eye does not admire the heart does not."

Everyone knows the importance of their eyes...for obvious reasons. Like a smile is an important first impression so are the eyes, since that is what people are looking at the majority of the time during a conversation! I truly believe you can tell a lot from a person's eyes and feel it is important to have them looking their best. No one likes looking into red, eyes with dark circles and saggy skin. Looking like you never sleep is not really a look people want to have or to look at. You might not even be tired, but your eyes reveal a whole other story.

When I look at tired, droopy eyes it gives me the impression of defeat and weakness, and who wants to give off that impression?? Age is a factor in this look, actually not getting much sleep is another, but a large reason is the effect of the sun on your face! So many people apply sunscreen on their bodies faithfully but skimp on their face, which has the most delicate skin to worry about. Even if you wear sunglasses or sit under an umbrella on the beach the sun is bound to get you, when you least expect it! Do you put sunscreen on before you go to work or if you just go out for a walk in your neighborhood? Most people would answer no. Even on an overcast day the sun can reflect harmful rays that you wouldn't even think about.
