I've talked in the past about the importance of taking care of your skin, especially when it becomes susceptible to outside factors like the weather and allergens. These sometimes harsh elements eventually break down the skin’s protective barrier leading to sensitive and dry skin.

Healthy skin has a hydrolipid film covering the surface of the skin called the acid mantle. The acid mantle is slightly acidic (PH 5.5). It’s essential to maintain this PH on the skin’s surface and Sebamed has been making soap-free products since the 1960’s which match this acid mantle and maintain the PH level while healing and protecting even the most sensitive skin (like mine).
