A lot has been said about Resveratrol as a powerful antioxidant which is produced from the skin of grapes.

Resveratrol, as well a combination of ingredients, can help your skin achieve a smoother more supple appearance addressing our fine lines and wrinkles.

It is derived from the grapes that produce red wines; my favorites are reds Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Malbec etc. my list goes on and on.

Vine Vera utilizes this powerful antioxidant in many of their skincare products.

I love wine! I believe that, in moderation, it can be very beneficial and healthy for your body. The statistics also suggest red wine to be the best for you and when I had a chance to review a skincare line that contained red wine benefits for your skin, I was intrigued.

Vine Vera uses Resveratrol which is an antioxidant found in red wine and grapes. This substance is usually created in the outer layers of the grapes. The use of Resveratrol is believed to help slow the aging process and retain a timeless youthful appearance. As a naturally occurring antibiotic, Resveratrol works to cleanse the body of impurities. As a result, it helps maintain the skins health and elasticity while preventing new wrinkles and reducing the appearance of existing ones. Resveratrol contains antioxidants that will eliminate the free radicals responsible for the appearance of wrinkles and is a key ingredient in all our skincare products.

It felt cooling and as it absorbed I felt it tightening and it left a nice protective "shield" under my eyes. It was in no way sticky or greasy, that is why I tend to love serums more than a lotion or cream.
