I love a good mask, especially in the winter when my face tends to be drier than normal.   The right mask will leave your face feeling hydrated and soft and Montagne Jeunesse, Virgin Olive Face Masque did just that and more for these dry cheeks. A wonderful scent of which I still can’t seem to identify, a creamy thick smooth application and a silky soft finish put this mask at the top of my list.

While olive oil deep cleans and combats dry skin, the added moisturizing benefits of shea butter and cocoa butter leave your skin super smooth. I almost always apply a moisturizer after using a mask, but quite honestly, I didn’t need it with this super moisturizing delight.

And as we have been blogging about all week, Montagne Jeunesse offers so many yummy flavors, it’s truly a treat for your face! Strawberry Souffle, Fudge Sauna, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate! Oh my, one for every day of the week!

So remember to treat your face this winter to a luxurious face mask but more importantly, take care of yourself!

Woohoo! Another week bites the dust and the weekend is here!  Sorry do I sound a little too excited? Well I am.  I live for the weekends.  Ok, well if I can be candid, I'm really counting down the weeks to warmer weather and spring time.

Well we've all been talking about the ins and outs of Montagne Jeunesse facial masks.  So when you go in for a facial and they apply a mask, do you ever wonder how much they actually put on?  I know when I do at home masks, I'm pretty sure I don't apply as much as they do because I want to stretch the amount of applications out of my $75 (or whatever I spent on this miracle mask)

So here is what I love about Montagne Jeunesse Stawberry Soufflé facial masks.  First I love that they are in pre-measured pouches.  There is no guessing in how much you should apply to get the full effect of the product.  Squeeze everything out of the pouch and apply! Boom! Done!  I also like the idea that if I wanted to travel and have a out-of-home spa day, their packets do not take up a lot of space in my magic bag and are less than 3oz.

I know that we have all been in the shower about to try a new shampoo...conditioner... face product, you name it.  Our hands are wet and you're trying to open this little tiny packet without scissors, right?  Maybe there's a little tear notch, but you can't get a hold of it...grrrrr!!!  Well fear not,the design of Mantagne Jeunesse pouch has a perfect little die cut hook that tears easily even with wet fingers.

This is a well thought through package.

Greetings Grayce here!

Wouldn’t you love to find a “mountain of youth”? Montagne Jeunesse loosely translated is the "Mountain of Youth." Montagne Jeunesse has a Beauty Bible We strongly believe that all our products should be made with the minimum of processing, using pure and natural ingredients derived from plant and mineral sources. All the natural plant ingredients in our masques are grown using sustainability farming methods

1. Montagne Jeunesse: Apricot Scrub

This is one of my all time favorite scrubs. I use a lot of creams, serums, foundations, BB creams, concealers and SPF’s every day. I have found that my skin and pores become slightly clogged and never really feel clean.

We are in the middle of reviewing Montagne Jeunesse this week and as the trend & celebrity style reporter I was thrilled to try out the latest and greatest in their face masks. I have tried SO many masks but I am very fascinated in the self-heating concept, especially since it is winter and I am chilled to the bone! I selfishly grabbed the self-heating masks that was sent to us immediately and was thrilled to get a Warm Exfoliating Crystal mask and the Hot Chocolate self-heating mask!

You might be saying to yourself, "what's the difference?". The difference is the added benefit of using self-heating skin care products, which is that heat opens your pores and when your pores are open they can be thoroughly cleaned out for a deep down clean. Cold water, cold air and cold skin closes up the pores. The best visual I always think of is in the 1981 movie "Mommie Dearest" the actress portraying Joan Crawford had a scene where it showed the process of her skin care routine. She woke up and washed her face with scorching hot water and then immediately turned to a bowl of ice water and started to splash that on her face. Although that is the extreme...and scary to think about, it is always the visual I get when caring for my face, hah.

One particular night, after being invaded by a snow storm, I needed a mood lifting solution so I looked around and noticed I had the two Montagne Montagne Jeunesse crystal-masqueJeunesse masks on my bathroom sink. I began my at-home spa experience by testing our the self-heating chocolate mask. As I opened the packet the scent of chocolate hit my senses and put a smile on my face. Applying the mask was so easy and the product flowed on my face flawlessly. As I rubbed in the product on my face it was seriously warming my skin and I felt like I was literally playing with hot fudge on my face! It was truly an amazing feeling and fun! I then went to relax for about 15 minutes, it doesn't dry (which I love!!!) so you will kind of feel like it is time to wash it off when it starts to slowly run off your face like melting chocolate, hah. After I rinsed it off and patted my skin dry I felt rejuvenated and I was in a much better mood. There is nothing as simple and inexpensive as this mask for glowing skin and an uplifted mood! This makes a great gift for anyone...and you know Valentine's Day is just around the corner ;) *hint* *hint*

It being winter and all, it was no problem finding time to test out the warm crystal exfoliating mask! My dry winter skin was screaming for help so I had to take time to treat it and slop off some dead skin cell layers. After placing the packet in warm water for a minute you simple rub on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rise it off and reveal your polished, bright new complexion!

The basic advice I can give you all on skin health and youth is the remember to take care of it! Don't abuse or ignore it you have to keep it clean and happy! A proper skin care routine based on your skin type and needs is critical to longevity.

Hey everyone!

So this week I had the chance to try a Montagne Jeunesse mask "Clean-Up Mud." This mask is for deep cleansing that has aloe juice for blemish prone skin. Some other ingredients include Mediterranean clay, willow, and witch hazel. When I opened the package, the smell was a bit strong at first (almost medicinal), but it did not bother me when I applied it to my face. I applied an even layer of the mud mask and let it sit for 10-15 min as directed. The mask went on smoothly and did not dry out as I was covering my entire face. I don't usually try masks because in the past they have gotten very itchy as they dry. But I was pleasantly surprised with this mask! Even though it smelled strong it did not irritate my sensitive skin. Instead there was this slight tingly and cooling sensation. After I rinsed off the mask, my skin felt very soft and smooth. It felt refreshed, cleansed, and did not proceed to feel very dry or itchy.

I just used this mask once, but other reviews on Montagne Jeunesse's website attest to the blemish control aspect, saying that after repeated uses they have noticed that it reduces blemishes and oil.

If you're looking to spend a little more on a clay mas, LATHER offers a comparable mask - White Clay Deep Pore Cleansing Mask, a detoxifying facemask for oily or acne-prone skin that can also be used on sensitive skin. This comes in a 4-ounce jar priced at $22.

At $6.95 Montagne Jeunesse Clean-Up Mud is a great price to try a mud mask without spending too much. But if you want to get a quick feel for a clay mask at an even lower price, you can try Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Clay Mask Avacado & Oatmeal. Although you will get a feel for clay masks, this mask does not work to alleviate blemishes or acne-prone skin.
