Summer is finally here, thank goodness. The temperature here in Maine is finally a nice balmy 96 degrees. Everyone here has taken to wearing little sundresses every day. With the weather so sweet, I have become less maintenance in the makeup department however. No use in putting on layers of color when skin is tan and humidity is high (don’t you just hate when the makeup melts off). My makeup routine now consists of sometinted SPF and a great lip color. The color I used is called “One Woman Can”, and it is a delightful deep raspberry tint with a swirl of shimmery pink throughout. Some lipsticks dry out the lip, causing a flaky colored mess. This lipstick applies easily and feels soft on my lips. The color is great, and I received many compliments. Most importantly is the staying power. Hours later the color is still strong, and my lips still soft. Who could ask for more in a lipstick?!?
