Just because summer is over doesn’t mean you can’t kick back and relax with a cocktail! Celebrate the season with fall flavors like pumpkin, apple, cinnamon and nutmeg.

With the colder months of fall just around the corner, everyone will soon be on the hunt for the ultimate lip conditioner.

I had the pleasure of testing the 3 in 1 plumping lip balm from BioExperience that hydrates, increases lip volume and reduces lip lines for naturally youthful looking lips. The forumula includes natural Beeswax, Vitamin E and Shea Butter for intense hydration and reparative benefits.

Three ways to use the BioExperience Plumping Lip Balm: Have you ever applied a rich, highly pigmented lipstick early in the day only to find that your lips look cracked and dried out by lunch time? Apply the BioExperience Plumping Lip Balm prior to applying your favorite lipstick to prevent that caked on, dry effect.

Apply over a bare lip or lip liner, if you want some definition, and wear as a lip gloss for day. The product delivers a bit of shine while also plumping your lip for a slightly enhanced, natural look.

Wear as a night treatment to deeply moisturize and repair chapped lips while you sleep. Awaken in the morning to supple lips and a slightly plumper pout.

Fall is just around the corner and it is time to start switching out your makeup colors for the new season! Whether you are trying out a new hair color or the hottest new makeup palette, you want to make sure that the makeup color you choose is right for you.

Rachel Gangemi, a celebrated brow expert and makeup specialist at the acclaimed Valery Joseph Salon, shares her tips for matching the right makeup for your hair color to ensure it stands out:

  • Platinum blondes should stick to the cooler tones. Stay away from copper and orangey colors. Choose cooler colors for eyes (silver or taupe). Pinks and blue-reds for lips and cheeks balance the hair shade best.
  • Golden blondes should choose peaches and pinks for cheeks/lips. Mauves, pinks and purples are good for eyes.
  • Beach blondes (with warmer highlights) need warmer tones like honey and caramel. Golden colors are also very nice. These colors are good for eyes, cheeks and lips.
  • Dark haired people have a larger color palette to choose from. Berries, wines, burgundies, mauves, plums and even lighter shades of pinks and metallics are all good for lips. Eyes shades like navy blue, grays and purple enhance the eye color. You can even go darker with brown and black for a smokey look.
  • All hair colors can wear a smokey eye. You just use shade for your color. Darker hair shades can go a little more dramatic.

For Fall/Winter Makeup trends, Rachel notes what will be “in” this season:

  •          Cat- eyes are huge
  •          Orangey and copper tones on eyes
  •          All shades of purple (deep, brownish purple, purple and plums)are big this season on eyes
  •          Pearly, glittery smokey eyes and dark smokey eyes have been all over the runway
  •          Grays - misty soft washes of gray all over the eye
  •          Lips are all over from deep semi stains in wine, red or burgundy to really gloss
  •          Skin is luminous finished
