BioExperince Iced Apple Elixir Hydrating Hand Cream

I love this hand lotion it has a the pleasant aroma of apples…it feels great not sticky. It absorbs quickly, and your hands will feel fantastic with a faint scent of apples…

It comes in an easy to pump bottle, ready to go when you need it.

I usually need to use a hand cream after immersing my hands in water several times a day.

This hand cream has just the right amount of shea butter to leave my hand feeling soft and smooth. And it smells great!!!

There are many moisturizing options out on the market today: face creams, serums, oils, moisturizing cleansers, night creams, you name it! Sometimes our skin needs these different options, especially throughout the changing seasons, but it's also a matter of figuring out what type of product your skin responds best to. Trial and error my friends. Hopefully our reviews here at Certified F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. can help shorten that trial and error period for you, and always read the product descriptions carefully to make sure it is suitable for your skin type.

Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich 6.25.13 Certified FabulousSo for today, I have a face oil to talk about. I don't use face oils often, I tend to use body oils more. I think oils can be tricky; they need to absorb well, because I don't want to feel greasy all day. So I was glad when I tried Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich Face Oil and it worked so well with my skin!

This oil has all natural plant oils to help dry, dehydrated skin and restore the natural moisture balance. It's extra soothing with an aromatherapy blend of essential lavender, patchoili, geranium, and bergamot to "sooth and uplift the mind." Treat your skin and calm your thoughts with this face oil! I can see myself using this oil and lot more in the winter, when my skin is absolutely parched and it needs to absorb all the nourishment it can get! The aromatherapy will also be very much appreciated during the bland winter months! But during the spring and summer months it works well for a night treatment. I wake up with absolutely no greasy feeling, and my skin looks nourished and hydrated! If you like using oils, you can use this Vitamin Rich Face Oil morning and night, just lightly massage over the face and the neck. It absorbed really well (and fast) for me, and did not leave a greasy layer, if I applied it in the morning or the night.

You can buy Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich Face Oil for $47.00 at www.oricolondon.com

Overall I think Orico London Superico Vitamin Rich Face Oil is a quality oil that will provide you skin with the nourishment you need and the absorption qualities we want, leaving your face hydrated, renewed, and with a great calming scent!

Salon Treatments / Salons - are a Magical Place

I love being pampered...oh how I love going to salons/spa/foot sanctuaries etc. it seems something magical happens these are magical places they seem to transform you physically as well as emotionally. I start to relax and look forward to being treated like a princess (or in my case Queen for the Day) nothing to see here!! But I’ve earned this title.

botox cosmetic suergery salon treatmentTop 3 salon treatments are very subjective. I personally love Botox with a little Restylane. The Botox gives me a refreshed look. The Restylane can be used around lipstick line corners of your mouth & other moderate facial wrinkles. These procedures should be administered by a professional doctor or in a medi spa. My favorite location is Ideal Medical Spa, Dr Susan Baskin is a must see if you are in the Portland, Maine area.

Treatments such a mani/pedi, facials, body massages, foot massages are magical they are feel good treatments. (my favorite location for a foot massage is Soakology Teahouse & Foot Sanctuary Portland, Maine. The wonderful aroma of teas combined with essential oils is extraordinary you are relaxed the moment you walk in.

Hi Everyone and Welcome to Friday!  This week we have all been sharing about our favorite ways to use aromatherapy.  With the holidays right around it's so easy to get stressed out.  You've got parties to attend, gifts to buy, not to mention... gee I don't know, work?  What's a girl to do?  Not sleep?  Um... no!  Take a deep breath and relax, because I have 2  amazing products to tell you about.

Have you ever been walking along and a certain scent catches your nose?  Maybe it's the smell of warm apple pie or orange blossoms or my favorite sage and your mind automatically goes to a happy place.  For me, when I smell roasted turkey, it always takes me back to my Grandma's kitchen... mmmmmm .. that girl could cook!  Scents have an affect on our moods.  They can energize or relax us.

I know that I have talked about Sevani Cosmetics before for their cleanser, but did you know that they use ageless eyes oilaromatherapy in their other products too?  Their Ageless Eye serum doesn't just hydrate and nourish the eye area it calms your mind, body and soul.  Some of her ingredients include, evening primrose, frankincense, neroli, pomegranate oil and more.  This formula is packed with essential oils that aid in fighting against aging.

Sevani's Serum Vitale is hands down the most versitle product I've ever used.  This is an all over yummy serum that you can use in your hair, on your face and even on your skin for those rough spots (like cuticles).  What I like to do, is dab a little on the top of my head before I go running and viola! I am able to relax and enjoy a little aromatherapy on the go!  The combination of patchouli-a natural aphrodisiac, lavender and frankincense (along with about 15 others) this product will not only firm your skin, inhibit those nasty sun spots, this power punching serum will also put you in a fabulous mood.  BONUS!  Does your current face serum do that?

Did you know...

Japanese Mint Oil an amazing alternative to conventional medicine

This week’s topic is one of my all time favorites. It is Aromatherapy. I definitely don’t refuse medication where needed but I do prefer to use alternatives if possible. Aromatherapy is well known since the ancient times when people used aromatic oils. Many of them have been described as a huge help when healing respiratory infections, congestions or simply for general massage, baths, compresses or therapeutic skin care.

Fall and Winter is Flue season. Being a new mom I always have to be prepared. Japanese mint oil is something that I always have at my house. I usually use “Knufinke – Japanisches Heilpflanzenoel”. Never heard of it? Well those of you who have been following my blogs might know that I grew up in Germany. And Japanese mint oil was something my mom always had handy as well. Still today there is a small bottle in every other care package. So what does it do and when do I use it? Just last weekend for example my daughter, who is at daycare, came home with a cold. Her nose was running constantly, she had a hard time breathing and as soon as I laid her down to sleep she started coughing and didn’t stop. So I boiled up some hot water, and added about 3 drops of Japanese mint oil and it took minutes for her to stop coughing and fall asleep. By inhaling the peppermint oil, her nose cleared immediately and it helped her to get a good night’s sleep.

Besides the use for respiratory tract problems like common colds, cough, bronchitis and a sore throat a lot of people also use Japanese mint oil for various digestive complaints including poor appetite, nausea or to wind down such common issues as headaches or sensitivity to weather changes.

If you do want to give it a try as well follow the below link and it will bring you to Rodler mint oil. This has the same ingredients as the one I have been using and is available in the US.
