  • Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner
NIOS Shield leavein conditioner certified fabulous

I have grey hair(s). It really stinks. I truly believe that when women sport grey hair(s) it adds ten years to the way they look. I choose to color my hair, and although I would love to be able to save copious amounts of money by coring my own hair, at home, that one time I made the attempt was disastrous, so I continue to seek out the help of professional, dropping a good $120 every six weeks. In order to make my color last, keeping the beautiful lustrous look a fresh color gives to my hair, I have found that using an SPF really helps to extend my dye job. SPF for my hair I say?? Why, yes, there are a number of SPF hair products on the market these days, but my favorites are Nios Shield Leave In Conditioner and Whipped Hair Gel.

    Nios Shield Leave-In Conditioner
is the best leave in product, with SPF, for my curly hair. It is extremely light weight, and never leaves my hair greasy, while still giving me great SPF 15 UV protection. This product is a lotion, and pumps out of a bottle. It’s a nice change from the typical spray on leave in conditioners, and applies smoothly to my wet hair. Its nourishing blend of Argan Oil, Vitamin E and Panthenol, leaves my hair soft and manageable. I use this product in my wet hair after shampooing. I also use it in my daughters’ damp hair before brushing, as it really helps with the tangles. I love that this leave-in is not tested on animals, does not contain synthetic dyes, sulfates parabens or PABA either. Nios Shield is a really great leave-in conditioner, which provides UV protection to boot, the perfect first step to protecting my hair color against fade!

  • NIOS Shield whipped hair gel

My second line of defense against the harmful effects UV Rays have on my hair (and expensive haircolor) is
Nios Shield Whipped Hair Gel. This great, creamy, whipped Gel offers SPF 15 protection with a medium strong hold. I found this gel added a lot of control and volume to my long, naturally curly hair. With amazing natural ingredients, Moroccan argan oil, Vitamin E, and Vitamin B5 ensure sexy, vibrant, and healthy hair. If you are concerned about the damaging effects UV Rays can have on your hair, and hair color, please try Nios Shield Hair products, they are amazing!!

  • Dermelect Pore Revolution & T-Zone Mattifier

Dermelect Pore revolution and tzoneCurse the T-Zone shinies!! Especially in the summer, my forehead and nose look like an oil slick as soon as the temperature reaches anything above 76 degrees. What is a girl to do! Thankfully Demelect provides me with a great T-Zone Mattifier, which also contains strong ingredients to help take care of T-Zone issues such as blackheads and breakouts. Salicylic acid stimulates cell turnover and penetrates pores deeply. T-Zone Mattifier instantly diminishing visible pore size while repressing shine, tightening pores while creating a matte look. This revolutionary, powdery cream is the perfect first layer, protecting skin from pore-clogging makeup.
I am not a huge makeup person, although as I get older, I really should be. It’s so interesting how I rarely receive a compliment unless Im wearing makeup, then its “you look really great” instead of “you look so tired”.. oh the joys of aging, and Im only 35!! This is why, since the invention of the CC cream, I am a happy girl :) CC creams provide color and correction, without the heaviness I have experienced from liquid foundations. CC creams are like makeup primers, filling in lines, and evening out tone, while providing a lightweight tint which helps mask complexion imperfections.

I love Korora CC Cream, and use this daily in lieu of a foundation. Sometimes, for nighttime shenanigans, I use a mineral powder on top of this CC Cream (lately it has been Palladio’s Baked Bronzer). This CC cream is suitable for all skin types, and is lightweight, never leaving my skin feeling greasy, even during these hot and humid summer months.

This miracle CC cream provides radiance to my complexion, while providing coverage t, blurring pore imperfections and discoloration. There is no need to try to color match with this CC cream, the light tine is suitable for all colors, and actually enhances any skin tone. I love that this CC cream provides a long-lasting even, radiant skin finish.. No need for foundation for this girl :)

  • Palladio Baked Bronzer

Palladio Baked bronzerI do like to dust a layer of Palladio’s Baked bronzer over my CC cream, to give me my complexion a sun-kissed look. I spend a lot of time in the sun, and have a nice tan going on, but find that when I use any sort of coverage (CC creams, mineral powders) it washes out the tan from my skin a bit. Palladio’s baked bronzer brings my tan back, without too much shimmer or sparkle. It provides the natural tan look, no orange!
