Hey everyone,

This week I had the honor to try the DHC – BB Cream. When I say honor I truly mean it. As Sara already told you this great product is not on the market yet. It will be available February 1st but the Certified F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. team received it and I was able to try it.

Yesterday, Sara explained what a BB cream is. She liked the DHC BB Cream just as much as I do. bb cream finalI think it works amazingly. My skin tone is very light but unfortunately I have dark circles under my eyes. Having a baby at home, I have a lot of sleepless nights and unfortunately sometimes you can tell in the morning. The DHC BB Cream will be my secret weapon from now on. When I tried the DHC BB Cream I was surprised and realized I only needed this one product to cover my dark circles. It leaves an even skin tone. On top of that it hydrates and protects with broad-spectrum SPF 20. And for $45 it is a pretty good price range considering you don’t need to buy a primer, foundation… anymore.

But as always when you want to buy something you can choose between different price points.

Here is an high-low example for BB Cream:

BB Cream MaybellienIf you have never tried a BB cream and you don’t want to spend too much on Make Up you could try the Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline. According to an article of the Huffington Post from November 29th, this is their choice of “THE BB Cream 2012”. It is available in drug stores and the cost is only $9. Maybelline’s BB cream comes in three different shades light/medium, medium and medium/dark offering a wide range of colors to suit most skin tones. The consistency is a lot thicker than with most other BB creams. What’s remarkable is, that it protects with broad-spectrum SPF 30.

A product that is more pricy is the Cyber White Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Cream by Estee Lauder. WowEstee Lauder BB Cream not only the price is higher; the name is extraordinarily long as well. But what makes this product so valuable? All Estee Lauder is telling us on their website is it “Combines a high level SPF with advanced brightening effects and natural-looking coverage. Lightweight crème keeps skin looking fresh.” It has an SPF 35. I didn’t get to try that product so if you have, let us know what you think!

For me price sure doesn’t always reflect the quality of a product! Every person is different, every skin is different and preferences vary. Thank good because I believe that’s what makes our world interesting.

I hope you all have an amazing start into the New Year. May it be a beautiful one for all of us!
