Let’s just say it; you don’t like to blend in. You are the type of confident, fashion forward girl who likes to stand out. However, we all get a bit nervous before making a big change; especially when it comes to wild hair color! If you’ve been dying (pun-intended!) to try out the brightly colored hair trend that has taken over Hollywood but are nervous to fully commit – Streekers are for you!

Streekersbottles Resized

I tested out Streekers in green which came out a really pretty emerald shade on my blonde hair. For brightly colored dip-dyed ends like mine, use a small comb to tease you hair before saturating the tips with the sponge applicator. I suggest using an index card to ensure that color is evenly distributed and stays off of your fingertips. Allow the product to dry and then comb and blow out with a round brush so it looks soft and touchable. Streekers is the only temporary hair color on the market that you can brush without flaking. By teasing your hair before application, the harsh line is blended for a more subtle transition from blonde to green.

If you would prefer a pop of color or highlights throughout, grab a small section of hair and drench it in your desired color from root to tip and allow to a few seconds to dry. Another fun idea is to highlight three sections of hair in different colors and then braid those pieces together for a fresh look.

My hair has been highlighted blonde since I was sixteen years old so I was nervous that the porous strands would absorb the color and not rinse out. To my surprise and delight ALL of the color washed out with one shampoo. Streekers are the perfect accessory for summer festivals or a night out and come Monday morning you can look office appropriate without anyone being the wiser! Streekers are available for $11.95 at
