Day 23: Meet the Parents Style + a Sweet Makeup Look!
Are you meeting your significant other's parents this holiday season? Not sure what to wear? Getting all wound up about it? Depending on the setting, whether its a fancy gathering or a casual dinner, you'll want to choose an appropriate outfit. For the more casual meetings, a nice blouse and stylish pants should do the trick. For Jessica's meet the parents look, she chose a patterned blouse with black pants and simple pearl earrings. Don't go overboard with your outfit, but don't shy away from showing your unique and lovely style!
Quick makeup tips: The main thing to remember is to keep your makeup light! You don't want to look too sexy or trashy, so the key is to look like a nice and sweet "Girl Next Door" type...whether you are or not, you don't want to put it all out there on the first introduction. Plus, second chances are rare! Neutrogena has all you need for a clean, light and polished makeup look...it's their specialty :)
After applying the liquid foundation, apply the Brightening Eye Perfector under your eyes and dab until blended. Take a medium to large sized makeup brush and dip the brush in the Mineral Sheers Loose Powder Foundation then tap off the excess. Lightly sweep the brush in a circular motion all over your face to set makeup and leave a healthy glow. You can use the blush as a contour or apply directly to the apples of your cheeks. You can dab the blush brush in the blush and then onto cheeks, then use the powder brush to blend lightly to maintain a bolder, pink blushing look.
Apply the Crease Proof Eye Shadow in the Lasting Taupe all over the eye lid and blend. Take the Nourishing Eyeliner in Spiced Chocolate and apply a thin line on your top lash line. If you want you can also add it to your bottom water line above your bottom lashes. Blend lightly with the sponge tip on the opposite end. Finish with Healthy Lengths Mascara and a coat of MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Juicy Peach. Voilà! Soft beauty that will make a perfect first impression! Good Luck!Last modified on
