Well today is a great Friday and hopefully the prelude to anamazing weekend.  Hi everyone, it’sBeckie and this week we’ve all been talking about bosom creams and lotions thathelp protect or hide some of our favorite areas to show off.

Personally, I’ve given up on the bosom enhancement creamsand just put myself in the “really late bloomer” category and moved on.  But there are other areas that I’d like toimprove and show off a bit.
If you’ve had children, ladies you can agree with me onthis.  Your body will never be thesame.  You can go to the gym and workout, eat right, but it will never be exactly the same.  As for me, I have this belly chub that I justcan’t ditch and there’s some dimpling on the skin too.  And I’m not even going to bring up the thighsituation.  With bikini season coming up,I needed soemthing that will kick my body into overdrive.
So I reached out to my favorite beauty guru and asked whatshould I use to speed things up a bit. She mentioned, Fat Girl Slim by Bliss. I automatically thought, “Oh right, what kind of snake oil is thisstuff.”  But she swore she had used itand it worked.  So off I went to massagemy “celli” away.  The first time I usedit, I felt a warming sensation and low and behold the more I used this lotionof wonderfulness, the less my belly dimpled. I just might be able to pull off a bikini this season… Get Down!  Next stop, thigh city!
“No matter how plain a woman may be, if truth and honestyare written across her face, she will be beautiful.”

Greeting Grayce here!
Breast enhancement creams have become a big business. In the last decade new breast enhancement products have exploded. The Internet and marketplace is jam-packed with varying claims.
The products I use address the fine lines and sun spots. They will improve the skin on the breast & decollete area helping to firm & smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
We all would like to have a good self image and feel attractive and that there are alternatives to breast augmentation surgery. If you should decide that is best for you, get recommendation for a good plastic surgeon.
I also strongly recommend wearing a bra for good support. I am from the generation where we burn them LOL not anymore. There are so many styles to choose from that look and feel great.

I just love “swift lift” from emerginC – this is an instant firming serum. I use this on my face neck and decollete. Instantly firms the fine lines. I also apply the vitamin C serum to the same areas to brighten the skin. emerginC swift lift An instant, noticeable, all-day lifting, firming and tightening serum.
This product pprovides a noticeable, temporary, long-lasting skin lifting, firming and tightening.

A special marine biopolymer, micro-collagen pentapeptide, green tea, grape extract, black currant extract, witch hazel. Formulated to reduce the appearance of wrinkles

I also like this cream Hydroxatone AM/PM: Reduce the appearance of fine lines. Smooth’s and hydrates improve the skin tone help reduce the appearance of wrinkles it has a combination of argireline and matrixol that relaxes muscle fibers to remove surface wrinkles.

Remember to do your breast exams

Greeting Grayce here!

I just love mascara and know it can be very challengingfinding the best one for your own lashes, there are so many different types, waterproof, no smear, lengthens & defines, curls & separates.
What makes a mascara one of the best, is simply if it worksfor you. This also depends on your eyes & lashes and is typically done bytrial & error. A recommendation usually helps narrow your search. We allhave several favorites some of mine are Maybelline, Dior, Givenchy, Chanel orL’Oreal.
Being a baby boomer!! I used the cake mascara for years also had gone thru the tedious process of painting
Twiggy eyes, just loved that look at the time. but we have come a long way.
Some fun factoids according to Wikipedia:

Mascara is a cosmetic used to enhance the eyes it maydarken, thicken, lengthen and/ or define the eyelashes. Normally in one ofthree forms – liquid cake, or cream – the modern mascara product has variousformulas; however, most contain the same basic components of pigments, oils, waxes or preservatives.

Did you know that the Bat guano controversy an urban legendmentions the use of bat guano as one of the ingredient of mascara???? It isactually guanine not guano that is authorized as a color additive for cosmeticsby the FDA and Europe regulations, and it must be extracted from fish scales, not bat guano.
In 1933, a woman known on court records as Mrs. Brownconsented to have her eyelashes permanently dyed. Unfortunately, the productused contained paraphenylendediamine, a chemical extremely toxic to the body asa dyeing agent. At the time cosmetics were unregulated by the Federal DrugAdministration, and the dangers of specific ingredients were unknown. Unfortunatelythis resulted in causing blindness and other problems.
In 1938 our congress granted the FDA the right to regulatecosmetics, similar regulations are in place today by the European Union &Japan as well as many other countries banning many substances for use incosmetics.
In 1913 a gentleman named T.L. Williams created a substancesimilar for his sister Mabel and in 1917 started a mail-order business thatgrew to become the company Maybelline.
In your quest for the perfect mascara that looks Fabulousshould lengthen, define, thicken, curls & separates. Has a wand that worksfor your lashes and does not flake, smudge or clump.
One of my current finds is by Maybelline the Falsies Volum’Express Flared.  Right after I startedusing this mascara I noticed my lashes were fuller & longer, even my doctorcommented and wanted to know if I had been using a lash enhancer.
Their claims were on target false lash glam with a flarefabulous!!! It builds volume with out clumping. The wand has a spoon curler brushthat fans out your lashes, the wand lifts and separates your lashes they willlook over 100% fuller.

Love this look from the Hunger Games.

Enjoy the journey!

Greetings Grayce here!

The French proverb, "Les yeux sont le miroir del'dme" is translated as
"The eyes arethe mirror of the soul”

Others have traced the proverb back to Cicero (106-43 B.C.), who is quoted assaying,

"Ut imago est animi voltus sic indicesoculi"
"The face is apicture of the mind as the eyes are its interpreter."
The Latin proverbs, "Vultus est index animi" or"Oculus animi index," are translated as
"The face isthe index of the mind.
Whether in Frenchor Latin Italian Spanish etc, it sounds so wonderful!!!
The periorbital area (around your eyes) is the thinnest and mostdelicate skin of your face. It is as thin as an egg shell and should be treatedwith care. There are some fabulous products on the market that address the darkcircles.
The goal is to find a creams or serums that help to strengthen thecapillaries in your skin.

Stay with me!!

Lavender Lavender Lavender...
My favorite scent and taking a bath is one of my favorite activities. Although it is not something I get to do every day. When it is time to take the plunge I want it to be special even if I have limited time. Set the mood, light a candle relax and enjoy!

You must try Kneipp Balancing Mineral Bath Salt: Lavender this is one of my favorite ways to relax. I occasionally add Epsom salts. Brew a tea with chamomile & lavender
This is a wonderful way to unwind, relax and re focus.

Lavender According to the University of Maryland Medical Center:

In folklore, pillows were filled with lavender flowers to help restless people fall sleep. Scientific evidence suggests that aromatherapy with lavender may slow the activity of the nervous system, improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, and lift mood in people suffering from sleep disorders.
Studies also suggest that massage with essential oils, particularly lavender, may result in improved sleep quality, more stable mood, better concentration, and reduced anxiety. In one recent study, people who received massage with lavender felt less anxious and more positive than those who received massage alone.

A number of studies have reported that lavender essential oil may be beneficial in a variety of conditions, including insomnia, alopecia (hair loss), anxiety, stress, and postoperative pain. However, most of these studies have been small. Lavender is also being studied for antibacterial and antiviral properties. Lavender oil is often used in other forms of integrative medicine, such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic manipulation.
Kneipp Balancing Mineral Bath Salt:  Balancing - Helps combat fatigue, relaxes and brings about a peace of mind.

Greeting Grayce here!
Over the past few weeks I have been using 2 fabulous facial masks:

The Astara Green Papaya Nutrient Mask is one of the nicest masks I have ever used. It gives you that wonderful aromatic experience.
The texture is rich and very cooling to the skin. After about 15 minutes rinse off mask your skin will feel refreshed.  It is so much fun to spread this green mask all over your face, you end up looking like the blue man group except your green!!
The Papaya, Pineapple, and Sweet Orange revitalize and gently exfoliate the skin. Sugar Cane polishes away dead skin cells, resurfacing your skin for a soft, glowing appearance. For all skin types.
Freeman - Chocolate & Strawberry Detoxifying Mask– you are in for a treat, anyone with normal to oily skin should try this.
Your skin will feel incredible clean and refreshed, fabulous. It is so detoxifying all the impurities seem to come to the surface and you just rinse them away.
They are right this clay mask smells so yummy yet still helps tone skin and diminishes the appearance of large pores as well as nourishing and moisturizing skin. Perfect for normal to combination skin types.

                                                         enjoy the journey!

Greetings my name is Grayce
I have always been involved in skincare growing up with an Italian grandmother olive oil & rosemary fixed everything dry skin, dry hair along with rain water, mayonnaise on our face & various strawberries for effect.

As I matured & was able to purchase a plethora of skin care products, then was fortunate to work with several prestigious skin care companies.

The ultimate prize was to join forces with Sephora when they 1st came to the U.S. I became the Director of Well Being
Had no idea what that meant (LOL) but I loved my title. I was offered the opportunity to work with 150 different skincare companies from around the world.
Can you imagine, I was over the top thrilled ecstatic! I had the privilege of trying all of these products, being trained by the owners & formulators.

As a result I did become very picky rather elitist fussy not quite jaded!

I am always looking for products to enhance my skin, which is mature & dry. I am exposed to the elements, sun, wind, salt air…

Looking for body exfoliators

Origins Incredible Spreadable Scrub
the scent is fabulous it is a blend of oils & sea salt beautifully presented exfoliated my skin was baby soft & the oils left it feeling smooth & hydrated it took away & gave back…love that !!! Hands down my favorite!!!!
