You might be quite familar with Neutrogena but these next few products may be a part of Neutrogena that you haven't discovered yet. That is Neutrogena Naturals. This naturals line offers Neutrogena products with no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes, or phthalates. This line uses "pure, safe ingredients that are naturally derived" (naturals.neutrogena.com). From their formulas, packaging, even to their website, Neutrogena takes into account the many aspects of a skincare line and how to make it as naturally derived as they can. I particullarly found it pretty cool that they took into account their website and how to use nature to power it - the "Green Saver" is a "self-sustainable, sun-feuled and wind-powered server that only uses renewable energy to keep [their] website running" (naturals.neutrogena.com). But what about the products? We'll here's my experience with a few that I tried out. Neutrogena Naturals Makeup remover and cleanser

Neutrogena Naturals: Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover

This hypoallergenic cleanser gently cleanses and removes makeup in one step. Your skin will not be left feeling stripped or dry, instead feels fresh, hydrated and soft. I was also able to use this to remove my eye makeup without any irritation. This product is 86% naturally derived - the remaining percentage of ingredients are necessary to "maintain effectiveness" (Neutrogena) and was not tested on animals. The bottle contains up to 50% post consumer recycled material.

Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming ScrubNeutrogena Naturals: Acne Foaming Scrub

This Neutrogena naturals product also has the added benefits of salicylic acid acne treatment to help treat and prevent breakouts. This is a great product to add to your skincare routine for clear skin! As a foaming scrub, I found it to be quite gentle while the microbeads effectively renewed and cleared dead skin cells for softer skin. My skin did not feel dried out or irritated after using this scrub. This product is 93% naturally derived and was not tested on animals.

With Coachella approaching this weekend, you may be thinking of your upcoming music festival styles this Spring. Music festivals tend to bring out a certain style, but since you'll be out in the sun, listening to good music and hanging out most of the day, your outfit best be somewhat funky, functional, and comfortable. I've put together a couple of outfits that I might wear if I was headed to a fabulous music festival...sighh...I can dream right?

For this first festival outfit, I went a little delicate/pretty you could say. I started with is lacey/flowy crop top and paired it with a more structured denim skirt. This is a great base to start with - you'll be cool (temperature and style wise) and the lacey crop top is all for summer/music festivals. Once you have your main outfit put together, add whatever accessories you're in the mood for. For a festival, I prefer light necklaces and some studs (statment jewelry could start to feel a bit heavy by the end of the day). Add a great hat and awesome shades to keep that sun out of your face. Of course you'll want a stylish bag to carry your essentials and a light layer, like this cardigan, in case it cools down (can also double as a small blanket/place to sit if need be).

Denim Skirt Festival

For this second outfit, I couldn't resist the flower headband. You may be all about the flower headband, but I think a festival is the only place I would feel truly comfortable wearing one - unless it's the Swedish midsummer, than I'm all about the flower headband. But anyways, for this flower headband style, I again have a pretty simple outfit. High waisted denim shorts are a good go to for festivals, and a light/loose cami makes a great combo. Add some gladiator sandals, some shades, another light cardigan, and you are good to go! I like this outfit because it's not over the top flower power, but still a great way to incorporate some flower style into your festival outfit.

I'm slowly starting to pull more spring like pieces from my wardrobe as the weather is even slower in warming up. Needless to say, I'm ready to embrace the spring trends. One easy on-trend style to follow right now is spring denim! Now you may wear jeans all year long, but that doesn't mean you can't embrace denim a little differently this spring. I have three light and easy denim ideas that will make you all the more stylish this spring.

The Boyfriend Jean

Boyfriend Jean

Break away from your tight skinny jeans from this winter and go for a relaxed, cooler vibe with the boyfriend jean. This jean makes the perfect casual weekend style, but can also easily be dressed up with the right accessories. Pair with an equally comfy loose sweater and add bright or decorative flats, a chic purse, and simple studs or jewelry for an effortlessly cool and comfortable look!

Sometimes we will receive books into the Certified F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. office, which may seem kinda random, but they usually appear to be pretty awesome. Have you read Jessica's review of the Booze Book? (HERE). It sounds like so much fun! I want one all to myself! Needless to say, when the next couple books came into the office, I had my eye on them.

The first book is the DIY DYE - Bright and Funky Temporary Hair Coloring You Do At Home by Loren Lankford. This book covers the various aspects of dying your hair. With main topics as "Get Ready," "The Dyes," and "DIY Style," you'll have instructions and pictures on multiple types of hair dying and what will work best for your hair. Writer Loren Lankford's tales of her hair dying experience at the start of the book lets you know your hair is in good hands.

To start, and throughout the book, Lankford covers all the basics of what you need when dying your hair. It may seem like common sense when you're reading it, but if you've never dyed your hair, or don't dye it very often, this book is a good reference you get you thinking about all the right things before you dye your hair and what you need for each hair dying technique.

Lankford also covers various hair dye concoctions and techniques such as: bleaching, hair chalking, Kool Aid (yes Kool Aid), Colored Hairspray, Henna, Tea Bags and so much more! Each process is written out clearly and shown with key photos for the techniques. Lankford goes over these different hair topics from start to finish, what you can expect from them, and what to use to achieved your desired hair color and effect.

Short DIY Definitions are included throughout the book to help clue you in on terms you might not be so familiar with. Overall, this book will help you know your dye, the materials you're working with and how that will effect your hair. You will be well informed before changing your hair so you can execute it properly!

Spring is here! Well, weather wise, almost. And that means your skincare routine is shifting to better suit your needs! We want to reveal brighter, luminous skin to match our bright spring moods! As you're looking to transition your skincare, you ought to consider Burt's Bees Brightening Line. For brighter, more even toned skin, this line uses a "unique formulation of White Daisy Extract, known to regulate skin’s melanin production, combined with a multi-fruit complex." Sounds perfect for skin right? And the White Daisy and refreshing scent will get you in the right frame of mind for Spring.

I have been using three products from this line: Burt's Bees Brightening Refining Tonic, Burt's Bees Brightening Even-tone Moisturizing Cream, and Burt's Bees Brightening Eye Treatment

Burts Bees 3.25.14

After using my daily cleanser, I then apply the Burt's Bees Brightening Refining Tonic (98.9% natural). This tonic, like most toners, removes excess dirt and makeup left on your skin even after cleansing. This tonic also helps improve surface dullness of your skin for a brighter, more even toned complexion. If you're hesitant to shift some of the products in your skincare routine, this refining tonic is a great way to add in brightening benefits with one simple step.

If you're in the market for a new spring moisturizer, Burt's Bees Brightening Even-tone Moisturizing Cream (99.0% natural) is worth a try. After using your toner, apply this moisturizer to help even your skin tone and help diminish the appearance of dark spots and discoloration. I like that this moisturizer has a light luminous finish which instantly brightens my complexion. It also has a very refreshing fragrance. This product is definitely moisturizing and takes a few minutes to absorb completely. I prefer to use it as a night cream, which works very well for my skin.

Do you have a dog or cat? Looking to spoil your furry friend? Why not sign up for a subscription box? You'll find great pet items without the shopping hassle and your pets will be perfectly pampered each month! I recently came across the subscription service called PetBox and I have nothing but great things to say about it!

PetBox selects the healthiest and best pet products out there for your dog or cat to included in your monthly box. When you sign up, you fill out your pet's profile so that the products are tailored specifically to your pet. What I also really like about this service is that members have the option to choose the items they want to receive in their shipment, or one of the pet experts from PetBox can put together a tailored selection for you. Sometimes the surprise of a subscription service isn't appealing, so I think it's great that members have the option to choose the products themselves! But no matter what option you go with, the items will still be suited to your pet based on the pet profile you created when you signed up.

What comes in the box? All sorts of fun & useful pet items! My PetBox was a surprise and my dogs and I were quite excited to open it up!

As the weather slowly turns warmer our wardrobe selections start to shift. We can't jump right into our summer outfits, so we have to incorporate those season transitioning pieces. If you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day this weekend, you'll want to go all out in ridiculous St. Patrick's attire; those crazy hats, catchy t-shirts, bright green socks, etc. But that type of attire won't float the boat for work come Monday morning. So to avoid those pinches for not wearing green, here are a few ways to incorporate the St. Patrick's Day spirit into your work style!

St. Patricks 3.13.14 Certified Fabulous

1. Bright Green Tailored Pants:

If you want to go bold with green, opt for some birght green pants! However stick to a tailored cut to keep them classy enough for work (bright green skinnies most likely won't make the dress code cut). You can also try a bright green blazer!

How often do you wear headphones? How about on the train, bus, relaxing at home, jammin' at home, or just about anywhere? If you're seeking good, quality headphones, you'll love to check out Flips Audio!

I really wish I had these during college. It was necessary for me to have headphones when I was travelling on the train, especially if it was the Chicago CTA. I couldn't stand a commute without headphones. But when I got to my destination I was most likely hanging out with my college friends so the headphones came off and the music stopped. But if you have Flips Audio, that music can stay on all the time!

Flips Audio Solo2Social effortlessly flip from HD headphones to powerful speakers! Flip the headphones so the speaker part is on the outside and a blue light tells you it's in speaker mode. I love the concept of travelling speakers that double as headphones. I most likely don't have the space to carry too many things with me, and when I was travelling by plane to college, hauling speakers took up a good portion of the little luggage space I had. But I had to take music with me; to get through homework, take a break from the work, or get through a commute, headphones always had to be in my bag. I also kept a set of good speakers in my room, but if I wanted to bring the music out into the lounge, it was usually just from my laptop, meaning the music wasn't that loud and the sound wasn't quality. Flips Audio would have been my perfect solution!

Flips Audio White 3.12.14 Certified FabulousEven now when I'm out of college and commute by car, I still love using these headphones at home and they come with me and my laptop so that I have access to good speakers whenever I want. Switching rooms, you can easily bring these headphones/speakers with you so you can always listen to your music with good sound quality! Also, if I want to take them out on the go, they are light weight and fold easily into their egg shaped protective case!

If you're into the technical side of headphones, here are the Tech specs you need to know.

I'll admit, I never had tried peeps until recently. I didn't have anything against them, I'm just so into chocolate that Peeps were never on my candy radar. But then I read Stacey's article (here) and I'll I wanted to do was eat a Peep! They sounded sooo good! Soon after that, another box of Peeps (Easter Edition) came into the Certified FABULOUS office. I tried not to pounce on them, but I was quite satisfied when I found out that big box was going to me! And now, I LOVE Peeps. It might have become a bit of an addiction. Because seriously, you can't eat just one. But don't let me get ahead of myself, I tried quite a few kinds that are worth sharing - except you won't want to share the actual Peep - you can keep that to yourself!

I started with the classic Peeps Marshmallow Chicks - Yellow, Pink, Blue, Orange, I ate them all. Each package as addicting as the other. They're so fluffy and that sugary coating just melts in your mouth! I could not eat just one, they were just too good. Plus they taste the best when they're fresh out of the package! If you want multiple color Peeps together, you can get the Peeps Rainbow Pop! This would make for a fun addition to an Easter gift or party favor this Spring!

PEEPS classic 3.4.14

PEEPS rainbow pop 3.4

Next up was the Peeps Milk Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow & Peeps Dark Chocolate Dipped MarshmallowI also loved these chocolate dipped Peeps! The dipped chocolate gives the fluffy marshmallow a satisfactory crunch. I mean we all know chocolate and marshmallow go good together, you've made a s'more right? Add on that sugar coating and this little Peep may be your next addiction. Thankfully there's just three in a package, otherwise I would devour a lot more chocolate and  marshmallow than I should.
